Earlier this month the lineup for this year’s Forecastle Festival, which takes place in Louisville from July 12 – 14, was announced and included HT faves The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Jim James, The Avett Brothers and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Today, festival organizers have revealed a batch of additions to the lineup headed up by Robert Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters ensemble.
Boys Noize, Sarah Jarosz and Inc have also been added to the Forecastle Festival lineup. Plant, who recently opened an Australian Tour with a set filled with Led Zeppelin classics, has only played two North American gigs with his latest band since forming the group early last year. Before heading to Louisville, Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters will perform at The Gorge for JamBase Live.
