The AV Club’s AV Undercover series never seems to get old. The latest song that gets the treatment comes from a woman whom I consider the single most entertaining pop star in the business, Robyn. You won’t get any of her trademark dance moves here, but Nashville’s Night Beds definitely stay rather true to the tune while putting their own countrified tinge on the song. There’s some nice use of the Moog Taurus by the guitar player too. Night Beds first full length, Country Sleep, came out on March 5th via Dead Oceans.
