On June 2, Neil Young and Crazy Horse kicked off the current European leg of a tour that guitarist Frank “Poncho” Sampedro warned may be the legendary band’s last. Neil and the band have changed up their setlists from previous legs ever-so-lightly by working in the occasional Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Surfer Joe And Moe The Sleaze and Welfare Mothers.
Also of note, Young has taken to performing a solo acoustic version of Bob Dylan’s Blowin’ In The Wind at each of the European shows. Neil first played Blowin’ In The Wind on June 11, 1988 with Dylan himself and has since performed the tune a total of 63 times over the years.
