Tour Dates: Jimmy Cliff’s Many Rivers Crossed Tour

While Bob Marley may have become the biggest name in reggae music history, it’s Jimmy Cliff that arguably deserves the credit for first exposing the masses to the the sounds emanating out of the island of Jamaica with his contributions to the soundtrack for 1972′s The Harder They Come, a movie that he also starred in. The reggae legend, whose critically acclaimed 2012 release Rebirth won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album, will hit the road this fall with an aptly named Many Rivers Crossed Tour. Named for his most iconic tune, Cliff will kick off the 17-date cross-country tour with an appearance at the inaugural Interlocken Music Festival in Arrington, Virginia on Sept. 6.
