Black Friday isn’t just for sleep-deprived soccer moms. It’s also for sleep-deprived prog-rock junkies: For this year’s installment of the Record Store Day-led celebration, Rush will release a limited-edition 10″ picture-disc called The Garden, which includes the studio version of the title-track (taken from the band’s excellent 2012 LP, Clockwork Angels) and a live recording with the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the picture disc features a design from Morma V. Toraya (Crankbunny), who animated the projection screen clips that accompanied “The Garden” during the band’s Clockwork Angels Tour. Speaking of which, the Clockwork Angels Tour CD/DVD package will hit stores on November 19th.
