Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Poster Revealed

The Grand Budapest Hotel

No modern filmmaker has a visual style as idiosyncratic as Wes Anderson, and the official poster for the auteur’s latest film, The Grand Budapest Hotel, doesn’t stray from his signature flair, boasting a pink hotel and an ornate backdrop of symmetrical mountains.

The film, following 2012’s acclaimed Moonrise Kingdom, is based on the unlikely friendship of a concierge (Ralph Fiennes) and his young protege (Tony Revolori). The cast features some of Anderson’s most frequent collaborators, including Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Adrian Brody, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, and former writing partner Owen Wilson. (Interestingly, Budapest is the first film scripted by Anderson without a co-writer.)

Though no official release date has been announced, Variety notes that the film’s first trailer is expected on October 17th.
