Fox Searchlight Releases ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ Trailer

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Days after releasing the reliably ornate poster for Wes Anderson’s upcoming film, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fox Searchlight has unveiled the project’s first official trailer (located below).

Turns out the skimpy info we previously had didn’t remotely do justice to the plot: The film does focus on a promiscuous hotel concierge named Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes) and his relationship with a lobby boy — but the plot is certainly more complicated, involving an insane legal battle over a painting.

Just watch the trailer. At one point, Willem Dafoe punches someone in the face with brass knuckles.

The film also has an official release date: March 17th, 2014. I’m insanely pumped.
