Interpol + Swervedriver = Magnetic Morning

Two musicians and one rock critic. Not a new rock opera but instead, the story specifically of Magnetic Morning and its dawn.
Brought together by a dual admiration for each other’s music and introduced by a  mutual journalist pal, Adam Franklin of Swervedriver/Toshack Highway and Interpol’sSam Fogarino make up the unique musical partnership of Magnetic Morning. "The songs  are a testament to Franklin and Fogarino’s willingness to step away from their individual musical calling cards; there’s no screeching distortion or three-guitar jams a la Swervedriver, and the music is considerable looser than Interpol’s buttoned-up rock,"
exclaims Magnet. While each has claimed its own stake in rock history, this is truly a full collaborative side-project for both. Whereas one might expect a mash-up of two distinct bands,  what they create is something wholly singular, full of lilting, dream-pop soundscapes.

Franklin and Fogarino plan to debut their new material on a fall U.S. tour this October and November. With nary a crewmember nor tour bus in site, these two seasoned musicians come to you armed with their instruments and their passion on their sleeves.
