Ex Mars Volta Members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez & Cedric Bixler-Zavala Form Antemasque- Announce World Tour

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of At The Drive In/Mars Volta have recently reunited as Antemasque with a debut LP to be released soon. The act is following up its brief debut excursion earlier this month with a worldwide tour that begins in October

The tour coincides with the October release of Antemasque’s self-titled debut album, which the band recorded in March with Flea on bass and former Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch. An announcement from the group noted that Marfred Rodriquez-Lopez recently joined the lineup as a full-time bassist.

A specific release date hasn’t been revealed for the LP, but its been announced that will be released through Antemasque’s own Nadie Sound label with distribution through Caroline.

Here’s a behind the scenes peek at the recording session for the album with a little video dubbed “Hangin In The Lurch – Creative Process.”
