Rock/Soul Legend Joe Cocker Dies at 70

Singer Joe Cocker, best known for his cover of the Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends,” and his hit “Feelin’ Alright: has died aged 70 from lung cancer.

Known for his gritty voice, Cocker began his singing career in the pubs and clubs of Sheffield in the 1960s before hitting the big time and had a career defining set at Woodstock where he performed the above mentioned Beatles cover which later became the theme song for the television series The Wonder Years.
