This may have been the longest week ever…am I right? Well, Friday is finally here, and we’ve got our regular batch of end-week leftovers to keep you entertained:

  • Relix gets Page Six fever with its new Rumors page
  • Stretching the definition of jamband, here’s one for ya: Babs Streisand gets the Trey treatment, getting a drink thrown at her while performing
  • Um, isn’t there some sort of law against monopolies?
  • Pete Townshend’s side of skipping out on his Howard Stern interview
  • Prince is the new Elvis — can’t wait to see the purple jumpsuits
  • The CMJ Festival begins in NYC
  • Do you really want to hurt me? I guess that’s a “Yes
  • Save the West High Aud — I totally used to have the tapes from the Alaskan Dead shows…
  • Here’s a solid article about the variety of acts that played a five-night period at the Palace in Albany
  • Ever wonder what happened to the “Free Hugs” wookies when Phish died?
  • Phantasy Tour reactivates Search Archived Threads — I bet you can spend a week in the basement reading old threads (oh right, that’s what you do anyway, only with live threads)
  • SCI Records teams with Magic Hat, and you win
  • The Disco Biscuits add a percussion player, and their fans get pissed
  • Last nights setlists: Trey, Umphrey’s, Widespread, Bisco
  • Hidden Track Friend SuperDee‘s got some cool pics and short vids from Vegoose up on her blog, including MMJ’s Jim James smashing pumpkins (notice that’s not a proper noun, he’s actually smashing pumpkins)

Feel free to let me know what else fell through the cracks this week…
