  1. I caught the two night run in Boston earlier this week, and the boys from Brooklyn do still in fact, own face. Def check out the Gal Events if you can… they seemed to be putting more steam into them as performers

  2. You definitely summed up the night with this statement:

“You could tell the crowd wanted to be whipped into a total frenzy on tunes like Brass Monkey, Root Down, Intergalactic, Sure Shot and So What’cha Want, but at one point everyone just kind of ran out of gas from the extreme heat”

Maybe my expectations were too high, maybe it was the stifling heat, but there was something just a bit lacking last night – not that this was a bad show and not that I didn’t have a great time. The reworked version of Remote Control was great and Mix Master Mike absolutely killed it. I guess was just hoping for more of a hip hop show. The placement of the instrumental stuff threw off the flow of things and they kind of mailed in that version of Sabotage (maybe I’ve just seen them do that one too many times to close out a show).

  3. Nice review Ace. Last night’s Brooklyn show was also a great time and didn’t feature the same exact setlist like I had thought it would. They also closed with No Sleep Till Brooklyn.
