Night number two on of Jonathan Wilson’s three show run at City Winery was an evening of top notch musicianship. Wilson and his band started the night off working from their own catalog, and were then joined mid-set by special guest, Nikki Lane. Lane, whose unmistakable voice has been filling up the airwaves and concert halls all across America, grabbed a guitar and joined in the fun. Performing originals from both Wilson and Lane, the cast of musicians looked as though they had been touring and playing together forever. To close out the evening, the group then treated the fans to a set and encore of Grateful Dead songs, which left the dancing crowd applauding and asking for more. Photos by Nate Burrell
