  1. The Phil & Friends show from last nite has not gotten good reviews.
I saw Ratdog and Bobby’s voice is shot but a good show nonetheless (despite some ragged playing on 1/2 Step and Uncle John). Plus 4 Dylan songs????????

Rich Robinson from The Black Crowes is a giant pussy if he put the thumbs down on doing a Ramones set.

  2. a) both phil and bobby played “Werewolves of London” for their encores last night (within 35 mins of each other)-NICE b) Phil bustin out a ghost! (kinda siked to listen to this. c) raq w/ dj logic in asheville – that sounds like a rad night looking at the setlist.
d)another sick “No Quarter” from Mule last night, I’m assuming?
    e) would love to hear tDB sets from last night
    f) anyone hear how U-Melt’s show went down with “The Bad MotherF#@ker Horns” ?

thanks HT staff for the compilation of setlists. one stop shop for me. cheers.

  3. Interesting, Rico…I’ve heard nothing but “better-than-expected” reviews from the Phil show. In fact, people I know are saying it was a very good show, EXCEPT for the Ghost. Still, I’d like to hear it.

  4. Philip was better than expected. Molo was the engine driving that band and always impresses me with his ability to reignite a dieing jam. I had no idea what to expect from Jackie but he was pretty damn good, lots of potential but still flubbing some lyrics. Maybe he needs Phil’s Jerrypromter.

  5. Seeing that Police setlist makes me appreciate another legend’s recent efforts a little bit more – Bruce & the E Street Band. I’m pretty sure I saw that same Police show in August and Bruce has been dropping nightly bustout bombs on this current Magic tour. I will cut the Po-po some slack, seeing as it is their first big tour in a long f’ing time…
