  1. it’s soooo bullshit what some artists/management are doing to photogs now. They want/need the press, but are the image gustapo when it comes to allowing time/freedom to shoot a unique shot.

    it sucks. plain and simple. (see ny times link above)

    even going as far as attempting to control photo rights and editing after the event….

    pfffft….

  2. I like the fact that photogs only got like five minutes to shoot Stevie Wonder…I doubt the flash would’ve affected him much. I know, he has a band, but that’s just comedy.

  3. ace – i could see 5 mins to shoot stevie, because the dude is sittin down and all that. but where are all the prince shots? right?

    it’d be nice to have some great shots of purple rain.

    what about other bands? 5 mins? really?

    3 songs work for me for big pop/rock acts.

    one more reason I love the jam/indie circuit. no flashbulbs, but shots all night a lot of times.

    The more shows we’ve sent photogs to, the less I find this is true.
