Radiohead Announces First Leg of US Tour

We’ve finally got some confirmed dates for the first leg of Radiohead’s upcoming North American tour, as well as a list of cities they will hit on the second leg. The most anticipated tour of 2008 starts with a two-week Amphitheater run in West Palm Beach on May 5. Thom Yorke and the boys return to the States for the second leg sometime in August, when they will hit New York, LA, Boston, Chicago and a slew of major markets across the country.

Tickets for the first leg go on sale Thursday via W.A.S.T.E., and we expect all the dates will sell out in minutes. We can’t think of a better Valentine’s day present for your loved one. The general on-sale takes place on Saturday. In other Radiohead news EMI has raised the ire of the band by announcing the release of a Greatest Hits package due to hit stores around the same time as the tour. Bastards!
