Radiohead’s hourlong performance special, In Rainbows: From The Basement, debuts on VH-1 at Midnight on Saturday night. Check out a sneak preview of Reckoner over at the VH-1 blog. According to the press release the band will perform songs from their new album In Rainbows (Bodysnatchers, Nude, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, 15 Step, House of Cards and Reckoner) as well as previous hits (Myxomatosis, Optimistic and Where I End). It will also be shown in HD on MTVHD.

Anyone else notice that the vocal line at the end of Reckoner has the same musical intervals as the chorus of “Take on Me”? Granted, the Radiohead tune is vastly superior. It just happens to have a part with the same intervals as the other song.
