nice set!
I think you missed The Other One? thanks so much for posting this!!
Pretty solid effort. The Unbroken Chain was excellent, as was the post Throwing Stones Jam!
December 30th and 31st, Bob Weir and RatDog and Phil Lesh and Friends/Phil Lesh and Friends, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, with the Jackie Greene Band opening both nights
I first saw these two bands on Jan. 2, 1970 at the Fillmore East. (Yes, Dwayne and Dicky on stage together, and Pigpen too!) I saw RatDog and the Allmans twice together this past summer, 38 years later. We thought this music was special “back then.” It was. And it’s just as special today. Music that fuels the fire in all of us; music that calls the very heavens to sing. Music that reminds us that, yes indeed, we really ARE children of God. It is fitting that seven days from now, Barack Obama will usher in a new day for this country. God is great, and the Grateful Dead lives forever!
