Cover Wars: All Of My Love Edition

Bustle In Your Hedgerow: Bustle always delivers a high quality performance when I select a Zeppelin tune and this week is no exception. Great sound quality on this matrix recording as well, be sure to grab the whole show from The Archive and add it to the library, it’s a gem. Source: 7-31-2005

Dread Zeppelin: Reggae rhyhtms + Elvis impersonator lead singer = Weird stuff. But that’s what Dread Zeppelin is and apparently Robert Plant is way down with the concept, check the video below Source: Hot & Spicy Beanburger

London Philharmonic Orchestra With the inclusion of Dread Zeppelin and the London Philharmonic, this very well could be the most diverse Cover Wars to date. Give this a listen because it’s a brilliant arrangement. Source: Kashmir: The Symphonic Led Zeppelin

Mr. Blotto: Mr. Blotto is a Cover Wars regular. They make it easy when they do things like play an entire set worth of Led Zeppelin covers like they did for this show back in 2005. A slightly slower and restrained interpretation of the tune. Source: 5-21-2005

Ween: And what we’ve got here is certainly the brownest cover this week. This song was also included on the Live In Chicago CD and DVD released in 2004 that you see below. The version included in the playlist from Halloween ’03 and includes an extended keyboard intro from Glenn McClelland. Source: 10-31-2003

And that’s all we’ve got this week. No videos out there of the original performers performing the tune live, so I leave you with this video of The Gap Band playing All Of My Love, no relation to the Zeppelin tune.
