Televised Tune: On The Tube This Week

Oliver Stone’s 1991 biopic on The Doors focuses a bit too much on singer Jim Morrison’s obsession with death, but does a good job of showing the sex, drugs and rock and roll scene the Los Angeles-based quartet came up in during the late ’60s. Val Kilmer does a fine job of bringing Morrison back to life on the silver screen even channeling the singer’s voice perfectly.
