BoomBox Returns To The Road Next Month

With excitement continuing to develop around their upcoming release, BoomBox has added several tour dates to their April calendar. The psychedelic trip-hop brainchildren Russ Randolph and Zion Rock Godchaux are prepping the final mixes for the new album downriverelectric and giving audiences glimpses of what is to come from the groundbreaking duo. Blending decades of musical evolution across all genres with an inherent musical inclination, BoomBox carries the torch for the live electronica scene.

BoomBox hails from the legendary Muscle Shoals, AL; the last bastion of hope for towns with profound connections to decades of musical contributions. The BoomBox vibe is built on the rich history and influence of the region imparted on Randolph and Godchaux. Incorporating live DJ’ing with guitars and vocals in real time, the duo drops body-shaking rhythms into textured guitar phrases and hypnotic rhythms. Hitting the stage with unparalleled energy and a vast musical catalog, the BoomBox live experience is thoroughly unique and refreshing.

BoomBox’s highly anticipated April tour gets underway on the 9th, as the innovative DJ / singer-songwriter / guitarist duo returns to Boulder, CO for a performance at the Fox Theatre. BoomBox has penned additional stops in St. Louis, Chicago, Boston, Albany, New York City, and Baltimore and will include the Sunsation Festival at Copper Mountain and The Early Bird Festival in Garrettsville, OH. Providing a unique concert experience, iClips.net will stream the live performance of the April 16th show at the Old Rock House in St. Louis, MO on their website.
