Even though I’m an offender of SCI pot shots from time to time, it’s great to see them getting back together. Hopefully they have the itch to play some bluegrass.
Ryan – I’m interested to see in what direction String Cheese goes. Will it be bluegrass, rock or electronica?
weirleshen – Good for them that they sold out the Early Bird tickets. Gotta be a good sign. I’ve heard only good things about the site, hope to make it out.
Glad that phish decided to get back together because they felt it, they felt the need to make music together again and not cuz they couldn’t pass up a bunch of cash thrown at them….

i quite never simply caught on to the whole SCI bashing thing. Kang this or Kang that. Kang is a sick musician and an even better person. SCI was my early personal vision of turntables and banjos. it really was. the ultimate in fusion, got lost, sadly, in itself eventually. all SCI needed, was a break. EOTO and Kang had their break. Nershi and others had theirs. Now it’s time to do what they KNOW how to do. Less fanfare on this reunion. it doesn’t matter. Hula Hoop crossing in Michigan this summer. Beyond that, Rothbury once again is the anti-pitchfork fest. go jam in Michigan!
