Jemaine? Present. Bret? Present. New album? On it’s way. That’s right, folks. New Zealand’s fourth most popular digi-folk paradists, Flight Of The Conchords, are releasing a follow-up to 2008’s self-titled album. Mel would be so excited. The amazingly titled I Told You I Was Freaky hits stores October 20th, via Sub Pop.
Expect familiar tunes, as the album will be compromised mostly of songs from the band’s second season on HBO. Season three of The Conchords is still up in the air, so cross your fingers that Murray and the gang return for more hilarity. In the meantime, enjoy my favorite moment from the show.
