Nearly 17 years after the release of Break Like the Wind, Spinal Tap is set to release a new album entitled Back From The Dead on June 16. The first single shares the same name as the album and you can stream it now at Billboard.com. We’re glad to see a number of Tap classics including Big Bottom and Hell Hole finally got the studio treatment this time around.
Let’s take a final look at some stories we missed this week…
- Lynyrd Skynyrd bassist Donald “Ean” Evans passes away
- See what a day in the life of UM’s Joel Cummins is like
- Look for Guitar Hero: Van Halen in stores later this year
- Jamtopia shares incredible photos of The Dead in Chicago
- Courtney Love doesn’t have much love for Ryan Adams
- Jack White promises the White Stripes will return soon
Finally, I’m off to attend Awesometown but if you can’t make it out to Morrisville be sure to stream most of the action over at Bisco Radio. If you do make it be sure to say hello. I’ll be the guy goin’ nuts during Lo Faber’s set and begging Give Us The Money Lebowski to play Makes Sense to Me.
