Festival News: Let It Roll & Bear Creek

The end of summer doesn’t mean the end of festival season as we’ve got two upcoming festies to tell you about. First, a reminder that the Let It Roll Festival takes place this weekend at the beautiful Sunnyview Farm in Ghent, NY. HT faves the Marco Benevento Trio, the McLovins, The Breakfast, BuzzUniverse and The Brew will be among the acts performing non-overlapping sets on both the indoor and outdoor stages. The gates open on Friday at noon and you’ll get three days worth of music for $70.

Also, the folks behind the 3rd Annual Bear Creek Music Festival – which takes place at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL on November 13-15 – have announced that they will be selling VIP ticket packages for $275 until October 1. VIP packages offer a more upscale festival experience including access to all music performances, primitive camping Friday through Sunday, exclusive access to the VIP area, reduced price beverages, and three meals (Friday lunch; Saturday lunch; and Sunday lunch).

The action at Bear Creek kicks off on Thursday, November 12, with full sets from Toubab Krewe, Pnuma Live PA, Pimps of Joytime, The Heavy Pets, Brother Bean & Gravity A. Those who purchase tickets for the weekend can gain early access on Thursday for $40. The Bear Creek lineup includes two nights of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Galactic, Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce and the New Mastersounds as well as sure to be killin’ sets from P Groove, Steve Kimock Crazy Engine and The Duo.
