Page Lends a Hand to the Mike Gordon Band

The Mike Gordon Band ended their second tour last night at the Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT; where Gordon’s Phish band mate, Page McConnell, sat-in on keyboards for a rollicking version of  Sugar Shack. As with most shows on this tour, the MGB played two full sets in the bassist’s hometown including a nice mix of covers and originals.

  1. Your statement that “most of the shows on tour were one set affairs” is an inaccurate report. Out of the 19 shows played, 8 of the were one set. The first 7 were one set, with the only other one set affair being the Toronto show (who can blame them). So the allusion that VT was “treated” to something unique is a bit of a stretch.

    Just sayin. 🙂
