As action-packed as the spring was for God Street Wine, it’s been incredibly slow for GSW news ever since. Today, I wanted to post a video of one of my favorite mid-tempo GSW tunes – The Ballroom. This brisk reggae shuffle was debuted at Irving Plaza on August 26, 1993 and the band recorded The Ballroom for their major label debut, $1.99 Romances.

Once GSW debuted the song it became a staple of their live shows for years to come. Our friend Joe Madonna taped this rendition of The Ballroom for Zodiac Productions at the Wetlands Preserve on February 16, 1999. Enjoy…
