Tour Dates: Who Are You?

If your name is Roger Daltrey or Pete Townshend, it’s looking like 2010 is going to be a heck of year for you. As we previously reported, The Who will serve as the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, FL on February 7. Then, come March, the seminal classic rock act will be honored via a tribute concert at New York City’s Carnegie Hall.

The concert, the sixth in the series presented by Knitting Factory founder/City Winery owner Michael Dorf, will feature the likes of Warren Haynes, Frank Black and Living Colour with proceeds to benefit the American Symphony Orchestra Music Notes, Church Street School for Music and Art, Young Audiences, Music Unites All-Youth Choir, the Pinwheel Project and FIKS (Fixing Instruments for Kids in Schools).

If you can’t make it to Carnagie Hall for what should be a great night of music, than maybe you’ll be able to hit one these recently announced tours…

Finally, an all-star roster of guitar-slingers will come together to celebrate the music of Jimi Hendrix via the Experience Hendrix Tour next Spring. The 17-date, cross-country tour will be anchored by Billy Cox of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Band Of Gypsys, Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang and Eric Johnson. While select dates will see Cesar Rosas & David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, Sacred Steel featuring Robert Randolph and Susan Tedeschi joining the bill.
