The Allman Brothers Band returned to the United Palace tonight for the sixth show on their eight-show March Madness run in New York City. Once again, the band invited some of their friends to play with them as Gregg Allman Band guitarist Scott Sharrard sat in on a smokin’ You Don’t Love Me to end the first set. Sax wiz Jay Collins came out in the second set for Desdemona and later in the encore for a 17 minute Whipping Post. We’ll have a full review on both this show and Tuesday’s performance tomorrow.
