Pullin’ ‘Tubes: Corinne Does It Again

In 2006, British singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae burst onto the music scene with her self-titled debut. The Grammy-nominated album featured a mix of neo-soul, jazz and pop, which topped the charts in the UK and peaked at number five here in the States. Bailey Rae, who seemed primed for big things, suffered a huge personal set back in 2008 when her husband died of a drug overdose that sent her into a hiatus from touring and recording.

Now some four years after her debut, Bailey Rae has returned with her sophomore effort The Sea, an genre-jumping, soul-baring album full of confessional heartfelt lyrics about love and lost love. Let’s check out the video for the album’s first single I’d Do It Again…

Corrine Bailey Rae kicks off her world tour on March 27, that includes high profile appearances at Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
