Tour Dates: Rhythm On The Road

With all the hub-bub surrounding Phil Lesh and Bob Weir’s latest project Furthur, it would seem easy to overlook that fact that two of their former band mates – Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann – will also be out on the road this summer playing the music of the Grateful Dead. The duo has revived their Rhythm Devils moniker and will be joined by Sikiru Adepoju (talking drum), Davy Knowles (guitar, vocals), and Andy Hess (bass), while Keller Williams will handle vocal duties on their July date and Tim Bluhm (Mother Hips) taking over for the dates in August and beyond.

If you’re not into a night with the two former Grateful Dead drummers, than maybe you’ll be interested in hitting one of these recently announced tours…

Finally, six months ago it would have been hard to believe that the members of Aerosmith would be able to put aside their difference and ever tour together again with lead singer Steven Tyler. I guess as the old saying goes – time heals all wounds – as the Boston-based classic rock act have revealed the details of their Cocked, Locked & Read To Rock tour which will hit a mix of arenas and sheds around the country starting on July 23 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. Joining the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers will be former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar and his backing band The Wabos.
