SCI Fuck With The Stars @ Red Rocks

String Cheese Incident “fucked with the stars” last night at Red Rocks where they debuted covers of MGMT’s anthem for the youth, Time to Pretend, and Joe Walsh’s ode to the surrounding range, Rocky Mountain Way, during the group’s first show since an appearance at Rothbury ’08.

SCI also threw in a few covers that they had played before, namely This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) by the Talking Heads and Keller Williams’ Best Feeling. Last night’s gig wasn’t all covers as the Colorado-based sextet performed plenty of originals including the debut of Bill Nershi’s Song In My Head and a two-set-spanning ‘Round The Wheel sandwich.
