Phish drummer Jon Fishman graces the cover of the latest issue of Modern Drummer magazine. Scans of the interview have already surfaced, while Modern Drummer has shared a “web exclusive” in which Fish discusses covering Exile On Main Street among other topics. The interview covers a bunch of subjects including Jon’s thoughts on 2009, why Mound is so hard to play, why the band decided to make their 12/30 show in Miami full of bust outs and plenty of other interesting topics for drummers and Phish fans alike.
In other Phish “news” Mr. Miner claims the band “is all but confirmed” to perform at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ on Halloween while Online Phish Tour claims Halloween will take place in Albany. Live Music Blog also throws Providence into the mix as a potential location. ZZYZX must be happy that the rumor mill went into overdrive after his post on the subject. We just hope they play somewhere on October 31st.
