Last week the producers of the High Sierra Music Festival posted on the event’s official Facebook page asking for suggestions about bands to perform at next year’s festival. The GSW community took the bait and left a number of responses proposing God Street Wine for the gig. If you’d like to see GSW play their first West Coast gig in over a decade at High Sierra next year, be sure to make your voice heard on Facebook.

Outside of January’s Jam Cruise gig there’s no word on any future shows for the band, but we’d be really surprised if they don’t play a festival or two next summer. GSW missed out on the festie craze and hopefully they’ll start making up for lost time in 2011. Gathering of the Vibes in particular would be the perfect environment for the Northeast natives.
