Jacksonville based Singer-songwriter Jeremiah Daly might be most familiar to many as the former frontman of acoustic-pop band the Perfect Measure. Courageously he stepped away from the group to do his very own thing in a more folksy, Americana roots style that spoke to him on a more personal level.
Daly’s solo debut album, The Darkness Will Be Over Soon, was released on November 13th and shows Daly coming into his own as a songwriter and musician, where his heart on the sleeve song writing immediately reminds us of the vulnerability and freewheeling emotion of Ryan Adams and Robin Pecknold.
Glide is premiering the video for “Mountain,” a reflective narrative that connects to the visuals in unassuming tandem. “This video was filmed in the exact same setting the song was written,” says Daly. “I wanted to capture the feeling that originally inspired the song. Everything from the mountain road to the horizon was exactly how I remembered it when I wrote Mountain.”
