After weeks of highly anticipated rumors floating around about some of the last living legends of rock getting together over the course of a weekend in Indio, CA, the site of Coachella – it is now confirmed! Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Who will be congregating October 7,8,9 in Indio for what is being billed as “Desert Trip.”  3 days passes start at $399 and single day at $199 – not too bad to see perhaps the first and final blowout of this revered six band grouping.  From the website and announcement it appears there will be no daytime performances which makes the night time sets the sole highlight of each day.
