THIS CONTEST HAS CONCLUDED
This fall some of the biggest names in metal and heavy rock will be descending on the city of Houston, Texas for Houston Open Air. Taking place September 24 – 25 at NRG Park, Houston Open Air features a massive lineup of more than 35 bands spread out over three stages. Titans of heavy music like Alice In Chains, Slayer, Anthrax, The Cult, and Ministry will be sharing the bill with bearers of the torch like Ghost, Baroness, and Pierce The Veil. Check out the full lineup here:
The lineup alone is worth making a trip to Houston for, but Houston Open Air will also feature a delicious roster of food and drinks, including the celebrated Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Whiskey Row and a Texas-sized Gourmet Man Food experience underscoring Houston’s emergence as a great American food city. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Whiskey Row will feature the following brands: Jack Daniel’s Black Label, Gentleman Jack, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Old Forester, and Woodford Reserve.
In light of the recent flooding in the Houston area, a portion of the proceeds from all Houston Open Air tickets sold will benefit the Greater Houston Storm Relief Fund. The Greater Houston Storm Relief Fund was established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner to accept flood relief donations that will stay in the Houston community and aid the victims of the recent storms. Full festival information, including directions and ticketing options can be found at the official Houston Open Air website. You can also stay up to date with them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
