North Carolina producer L’Orange and Mr. Lif have announced a collaborative album titled to be released digitally on October 7th on Adult Swim and one week later in physical format via Mello Music Group on October 14th. Special guests include QBert, Gonjasufi,Akrobatik, Insight and Wyatt Cenac (Daily Show, Bojack Horseman) who lends his voice as the narrator of the story. The album is heralded by the release of their first single “Strange Technology” with long-time Mr. Lif collaborator, Akrobatik, and vocals from experimental San Diego artist Gonjasufi, whose new album just dropped. Sharp, back and forth verses from Lif and Ak over gritty piano-laden production from L’Orange combined with a filtered Gonjasufi chorus come together seamlessly as an explicit harbinger of great things to come from this project.
