Guided By Voices are set to self-release their brand new album, ‘Let’s Go Eat The Factory’, in January 2012.
After reuniting their classic line-up of Robert Pollard, Tobin Sprout, Mitch Mitchell, Greg Demos and Kevin Fennell last year, the band will put out their first album since 2004’s ‘Half Smiles of the Decomposed’.
The album will be preceded by a 7” and digital single, ‘The Unsinkable Fats Domino’/‘We Won’t Apologize’, which is released through Matador on November 21.
The band reformed for their label Matador’s 21st birthday celebrations in Las Vegas in October 2010. The Dayton, Ohio five-piece, got together their 1993-1996 line-up, which is widely regarded by fans as the band’s best, for the event.
