Bassnectar Downsizes To Small Venues For Spring Tour

Having played to more than 220,000 fans in 2012, Bassnectar is downsizing for spring 2013 as the electronic musician/DJ lines up a short series of shows in smaller rooms as he goes for more intimate appearances.  Beginning in late-April, destinations include Boston, Providence, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.

Announcing a brief run of East Coast locales, Bassnectar will be joined by Michal Menert, GriZ, Archnemesis and Up Until Now on select dates.  The tour beings just a few days after his twin weekend appearances at Coachella, April 12 & 19.

May 5 – Silver Spring, Md., The Fillmore Silver Spring
May 8 – Columbia, S.C., Township Auditorium
May 9 – Charlotte, N.C., Grady Cole Center
May 10 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
May 11 – Atlanta, Ga., The Tabernacle
May 12 – Chattanooga, Tenn., Track 29
Thriftworks appears on all dates.  Michal Menert appears Apr. 24-25, May 2-4 and May 11-12. Archnemesis appears Apr. 26; GriZ appears April 27-May 1 and May 5-9; and Up Until Now is on the May 10 lineup.
