Fear Of Men Drop Lead Single “Alta / Waterfall” From Debut Album

Yesterday, UK-based trio Fear Of Men dropped “Alta / Waterfall,” the lead single off their debut album Loom, which is out April 22, 2014 via Kanine Records. The song also acts as the first two tracks from the album.

“Alta / Waterfall” evokes the dark melancholy of the 90s through textured guitars, thoughtful lyrics and a melodic arc that recalls PJ Harvey, The Cranberries and Tori Amos. It’s an inspired offering from a band that’s already shown a lot of promise, and if these two tracks are any indication, Loom will be one of 2014’s strongest debuts, like a more contemplative, softer version of Savages’ Silence Yourself.

Loom Tracklist:
1- Alta
2- Waterfall
3- Green Sea
4- Vitrine
5- Tephra
6- America
7- Seer
8- Luna
9- Descent
10- Inside
11- Atla
