Tom Hamilton’s revamped side project American Babies took the stage last Wednesday at the Rockwood Music Hall for the CMJ Music Festival.  For the price of a single drink, fans got up close and personal with Tom and special guest Aron Magner for their 45-minute set.  Ex-member and close friend Joe Russo was also in attendance and fans who stuck around got another treat as The Barr Brothers (The Slip) followed up with a set of their own.

Here is a bird’s eye view of Phish‘s show at the Utica Auditorium on October 20th.  This capacity crowd of 5,700 fans marks the smallest venue the band stopped at this fall tour.

In honor of the NBA’s season’s opening this week, we have these shots courtesy of Chris Anderson, affectionately known as “Birdman” to Denver Nuggets’ fans.  We look forward to seeing this eye-popping neck tattoo throughout the winter and pray he’s a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan.
