Bisco Power Mission: Mission Accomplished

tDB bassist – and HeadCount co-chair – Marc Brownstein was clearly happy with the result of BPM’s efforts, “it was pretty amazing to see how it all came together. We always talk about harnessing the energy that music generates – well in this case we literally made that happen,” said Brownstein. Guitarist Jon Gutwillig added, “I love the fact that every time the kids come into the school they’re getting a little reminder about solar and renewable energy. Some of those kids will grow up to be engineers, and be more likely to work in renewable energy because of it.”

Greenfield students can watch the output of the panels in real-time on a monitor in the school’s lobby. There’s a plaque next to the monitor listing the names of tDB fans who helped make BPM possible by purchasing a commemorative poster in addition to a concert ticket. Nice work by the band and HeadCount on a very successful start to the Bisco Power Mission.
