Widespread Panic Announces Spring Tour

2011 marks 25 Years as a band for southern jam titans Widespread Panic. The group already announced a run of three intimate shows in its home state of Georgia that sold out quickly and today announced a Spring Tour.

The two-week run includes stops at fan and band favorite venues including the Palace in Louisville, KY and the Asheville Civic Center and concludes with two nights at Oak Mountain featuring Colorado’s Big Gigantic as support. We’re excited to see legendary fiddler Charlie Daniels and his band will open the Asheville shows, setting us up for some epic sit-in action.

UPDATE: Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster at 10AM EST on February 4th for all shows with the exception of the Louisville shows (12PM EST on 2/4), the University of Indiana-Pennsylvania show (TBA) and the Oak Mountain shows (10AM CST on 2/4).
