Back on November 16, Mike Gordon and the Mike Gordon Band took the stage at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, Minn. for a rollicking performance that HT’s Joe Ringus felt opened with a sizzling Can’t Stand Still and “never let up.” With the MGB about to kick off its first tour of 2011 tomorrow night in Eugene, Oreg.; the Phish bassist has shared a free MP3 soundboard download of the group’s show at the Fine Line Music Cafe.

According to Ringus, highlights from that gig included a segue sandwich of J.J. Cale’s Ain’t Love Funny with drummer Todd Isler’s original Kryermaten as well as a staple of the Phish repertoire – a cover of Son Seals’ Funky Bitch. This show also features GRAB-debuted originals Suskind Hotel and Hap Nappy, a cover of Alanis Morrisette’s Hand In My Pocket and a Sugar Shack encore.
