Announcing: Widespread Panic Summer 2011

Jam titans Widespread Panic celebrate 25 years together in 2011 and have promised lots of shows this year before a possible hiatus starts in ’12. With spring tour set to kick off on Friday in Louisville, the band has just revealed their summer plans. The lengthy run starts at Bonnaroo on June 12 and continues for a little more than a month, focusing on the West Coast before coming to a close with a pair of performances in Las Vegas on July 15 and 16.

Of particular note is Panic’s return to Red Rocks for the traditional three-show run from June 24 – 26. This marks shows #40 – #42 for the group, who already hold the record for most headlining gigs at the gorgeous venue outside of Denver. WSP will also come back to the ACL Live venue in Austin, where the band performed earlier this month as part of a SXSW showcase.
