Earlier this year, John Oates of Hall and Oates fame sat in with jam stalwarts moe. and Umphrey’s McGee at each of the group’s Aspen performances. Then, in June, Oates was UM’s special guest at Mountain Jam during a memorable late night set. Apparently the ’80s legend likes the jam scene as he has just been announced as the latest Jam Cruise 10 special guest along with Greyboy Allstars/20th Congress keyboardist Robert Walter. Look for John Oates to perform with the Omega Moos on No Can Do and other classics from the late ’70s/early ’80s. Plus, we’d bet he’ll be all over the Jam Room. Jam Cruise 10 sets sail from Ft. Lauderdale on January 9.
