The summer isn’t even over but bands are already looking ahead towards the end of the year and making their New Year’s Eve plans known to fans including jam faves STS9 and moe.

STS9 will play their first five-night stand at one venue since 2007 when they pull into Atlanta’s Tabernacle from December 27 – 31. The band has a long history with the venue, where they’ll celebrate their 25th show at The Tab during the run. Fan Club tickets go on sale Saturday, August 20 at Noon ET via STS9Store.com.
At the other end of the East Coast, indie-jammers moe. bring their NYE festivities to the State Theatre in Portland, ME. The band, who just announced a lengthy fall tour, will ring in 2012 on December 30th and 31st at the newly renovated venue. The moe. ticketing pre-sale kicks off on Tuesday, August 11 at Noon ET with a public on-sale to follow.
