Last year, HT faves Umphrey’s McGee announced they would be moving their traditional New Year’s Run from Chicago starting in ’11 – ’12 and continuing for the foreseeable future. At that time fans started speculating about cities that might host the prog-jammers and that discussion focused around Denver, Atlanta and NYC. One city that flew under Umphreaks’ radar was St. Louis and today we’ve found out that Umphrey’s will bring the NYE festivities to The Pageant in St. Louis from December 29 – 31.
Single-day tickets and three-show ticket packages will go on sale September 9 at 5PM CDT. The band has made a number of VIP options available for these performances that include early access to the GA venue (boo!), an autographed poster, a meet-and-greet and digital downloads. There are also travel packages that include accomodations at the Moonrise Hotel, which is right next to the venue. Head to UM Ticketing on Wednesday, August 24 at Noon CDT to get in on these high roller packages.
