Betts, Haynes, Bramlett, Pyle and More Play For Toler

Members of the Allman Brothers Band extended family came together at Herschberger Ranch in Sarasota, Florida this weekend to help raise funds for former ABB guitarist “Dangerous” Dan Toler, who suffers from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Dickey Betts and Great Southern headlined Saturday’s festivities, while the Artimus Pyle Band and Blackhawk were atop the bill last night.

On Saturday, Toler emerged from the wings to perform with former band mate Dickey Betts and “Allman Sister” Bonnie Bramlett of Delaney & Bonnie fame. A fund has been set up for those who wish to donate money to help off-set Toler’s extensive medical bills.
